Choosing a substance use treatment program is a big decision. You want a program that’s a good fit for your organization, your counselors, and your clients. We want that too.
The Seven Challenges is evidence based, yet flexible, and trusted by hundreds of organizations. We believe in counseling the whole person (not just treating substance use problems), providing our customers with ongoing support, and not requiring clients to make a vow of abstinence.
You can use The Seven Challenges with other modalities, in many different settings, and in individual sessions, groups, or a combination of the two. The program also allows for open groups.
People use drugs for a reason. Seven Challenges counselors help clients figure out what’s driving their substance use and overcome their co-occurring problems. In short, we believe in counseling the whole person.
Clients are not required to take a vow of abstinence to participate in the program. That doesn’t mean we support drug use. It means we believe in clients’ ability to make their own decisions about their drug use.
We don’t just send you a manual and say good luck. We’re there for you beyond initial implementation with quarterly support calls, annual fidelity visits, and access to our team whenever you need it — the entire time your organization is a customer.
From outpatient and residential treatment centers to schools and juvenile justice departments — hundreds of organizations across the US (and some international too!) use The Seven Challenges with their clients.
